About Me
I like dogs, Captain Jean-Luc Picard, late-night karaoke, and saving the world one micro-interaction at a time…

Great design is beautiful and functional for everyone.
I became a graphic designer because I wanted to make beautiful things for a living, and I transitioned to UX research and design because I wanted to make people’s lives a little easier by improving their interaction with the technology we’ve all come to rely on. As a UX Researcher and Designer I still get to create beautiful work, but I do it with a strong understanding of my target audience gathered from user research and usability testing.
I’m currently a Senior User Researcher at Shipt, a grocery delivery service owned by Target.
Prior to Shipt, I was a Senior Product Designer at Kroger Technology & Digital where I worked collaboratively across cross-functional teams supporting design and research into the creation of tools used by Kroger Merchandisers.
Before that, I was the Lead UX Designer at UCD agency in Louisville, KY called Forest Giant. We were a small, balanced team creating user-friendly enterprise applications, mobile applications and websites for Fortune 500 companies, startups, and everyone in between. If we want to dial the clock back even further, I’ve been a brand designer at an e-commerce company, a print maker at two different world renowned letterpress print shops, a freelancer, a photographer, and a cake decorator. When it comes to creative careers choices, I’ve sort of run the gamut.
